at Vale da Esteva
A practical, human and transformative experience that brought together participants from various countries in the heart of syntropic agriculture in Portugal.
Over 5 days of hands-on learning, 9 participants, coming from Lisbon, São Paulo (Brazil), Castelo Branco, Nazaré, the United Kingdom (with Peruvian nationality), and Cascais, engaged in real agroforestry practices, with special focus on interventions in the vineyard and the 2023 and 2024 agroforestry areas, exceeding the planting goals.
The presence of local consultants, together with the Agro team from Vale da Esteva, created a highly collaborative and technically rich environment.
The final balance confirms that Vale da Esteva is already a reference point for promoting syntropic agriculture in Portugal!

There are several ways to get to Vale da Esteva
It's only two and a half hours by car from Lisbon and Oporto and three and a half hours from Madrid, but you can also choose to travel there by train or coach.
